The Department of Telugu was started along with the establishment of the college in the year 1948. Since its inception the Department has been playing an important role, assisting the college administration in organizing almost every important.FiveLecturersareworkingintheDepartment.


Vision :

A continued commitment to the imparting of education and training of national standard and persistence to reach our ultimate goal of meeting present standards in TELUGU Studies in the College. 


Mission :

Catering to the needs of the region for which we are created by our rural-based University Revising our curricula, initiating necessary changes in teaching and learning processes, materials and evaluation practices at regular intervals, to be in tune with the current trends. Adding regularly the most current and upcoming areas of knowledge to our curricular framework in order to strengthen teaching in TELUGU Studies. Exploring possibilities for establishing linkages with other institutions of importance by introducing TELUGU LANGUAGE LAB to promote Communication Skills to the students of rural areas. Fostering association with alumni and interaction with the industry and service sectors from time to time to update ourselves about the changing needs for mutual benefit.


OurAim  :

Our aim is to remain steadfast in our commitment:
To make our modest contribution to the society by designing and implementing Communication Skills in TELUGU. To conduct a National Seminar and Workshop and to undertake a Minor Research Project.
